What this site collects

Two things, both ordinary. First, anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics: which pages get read, roughly where visitors come from, and what device they use. This helps us figure out which articles are useful so we can write more of them. Google Analytics sets cookies to do this; we never see your name, email, or anything that identifies you personally from it.

Second, your email address, but only if you type it into the signup form yourself. We use it to send the free checklist you asked for and an occasional note when something new or genuinely useful goes up. Nothing else. No purchased lists, no sharing, no selling, ever.

Who processes it

Email signup and delivery run through Kit (formerly ConvertKit), our newsletter provider. Analytics run through Google Analytics. This site is served through Cloudflare. Each of those companies has its own privacy policy governing the infrastructure they provide.

How to opt out

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and it works on the first click. For analytics, most browsers offer tracking protection, and Google publishes an opt-out browser add-on.

Purchases

We do not sell anything on this site and never see payment details. Purchases happen on Teachers Pay Teachers, under their checkout and their privacy policy.
