Math Workbooks in Print

The same practice pages teachers download from our store, bound as a full-size paperback for a child to work through at home. There is one book for each grade from 2nd to 5th, and each book has an answer key for every practice page. They are practice books, not textbooks: there are no lessons. They suit a child who is learning these skills at school or at home and needs more practice, or who wants to keep them sharp.

What is inside

100 topic pages across nine topics: multiplication, division, fractions, place value, word problems, addition and subtraction, geometry, mixed review, and morning work (short warm-up pages). Each topic has an on-level set, and eight of the nine also have a challenge set.
36 weekly pages, one for each school week, with five short problems each (one per weekday). They alternate between two groups of skills all year, so earlier skills keep coming back.
A tracker page to check off each week.
Answer keys at the back. Each key names the pages it answers.

Each topic page names the Common Core standard it practices.

Some problems use bigger numbers than the third grade standards call for, such as sums over 1,000 or factors over 10. Most of them are on the challenge pages and in 16 of the weekly pages (week 10 onward); some on-level addition and subtraction pages have them too.

The fraction pages also go past the third grade standards, which use only halves, thirds, fourths, sixths and eighths. Eight of the nine on-level fraction pages, all nine challenge fraction pages and eleven of the weekly pages use other denominators as well: fifths, sevenths, ninths and tenths, and in equivalent fraction problems, denominators up to 32.
